Ever since OBJ came into power, there have been some improvements in the telecommunication and banking sectors. He even try and empower women in the cabinet. But on the other hand, during his time there have been so many crises, for example, the religious persecutions across the country, educational system is bad, health is bad, even the crime rate is still very high. Through the creation of the EFCC he's been trying to reduce corruption, but there's still a question mark on that one. I think he has performed neither good nor bad, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel because of the EFCC and because of the improvements I mentioned above.

I don't know much about OBJ, but from what I have heard and seen on TV, he has done more for Nigeria than previous leaders in the recent years have done! That is not to say that he is the best, but he's alright.

For those who want to know about OBJ's performance, all I can say is: I can't even dream of travelling to Benin city at the moment because the Lagos Benin road is a death trap as in it being non-motorable. Planes are falling from the Nigerian skies, armed robbers and assassins reign unchallenged. The common man on the street is still suffering. I think all this speaks for itself.

That might be true, but I think he has tried more than other leaders before him (with the exception of Murtalla Mohammed, of course). At least he didn't impose a military regime or something like that. As for crime, you are right, but crime takes a long time to reduce, certainly more than 8 years. So I think that is something that the future presidents must continue to work on.
