It seems that bleaching one's skin is still quite popular among black people. I still see alot of people doing it. I wonder what it is about bleaching that makes it so appealing to many black people? Do they think they'll be more beautiful with lighter skin? Do they think it'll make them more attractive? Could it be just a fashion trend, or is it deeper than that? Do people who bleach actually have a problem accepting their own race or identity?

I think people need to be educated about the effects of bleaching on their health. Many of them are ignorant and don't know what they are doing to themselves. Plus, what are we teaching our children when we bleach...?
